How it works

From soil to success in three simple steps.

Step 1

Mix with water

Apply 40ml Liquid Compost for every 1L of water. For 16L spray tank, use 600ml (same size as a small coke bottle). Measurements are also written on the back label of the bottle.

Step 2

Apply to soil and plants

Spray the soil around your plants as well as the leaves. You can spray your plants at any stage - from seeds to fruiting.

Step 3

Repeat until harvest

Apply every 2-4 weeks from planting to harvesting. Enjoy bigger, better harvests — and keep more of what you grow.

Across Fiji, farmers are joining the high-performance movement.

Watermelon

Jo Sivo

“Before, I failed to produce a good harvest for the last 2 years. After using Liquid Compost together with my normal fertilizer, I managed to boost the size of my dalo to 3.4kg on average. I reduced my losses as there was no more dalo beetle, and best of all, my customers kept asking for more.”

Questions, answered.

Straightforward answers to the questions farmers ask us most.

What can you use Liquid Compost on?

You can use Liquid Compost on most major crops farmers grow in Fiji — root crops like dalo, cassava, kumala, ginger and yaqona, 3-month vegetables (like Chinese cabbage, lettuce and other leafy greens), fruiting vegetables like eggplant and chillies, fruit trees, and crops like watermelon.

Many farmers simply add it alongside their normal fertiliser program to give the soil and plants an extra boost. Always follow the label and any specific crop advice from our team.

How many times do you use it?

Liquid Compost works best when it’s used more than once in the crop cycle, not just a single spray. A simple way to think about it:

  • 3-month vegetables (Chinese cabbage, lettuce, etc.): start early, then repeat every week through the season.
  • Dalo, eggplant, watermelon: start when plants are young and repeat through early growth and before strong flowering/fruiting.
  • Yaqona and fruit trees: use regularly in the growing season to keep soil life and root growth active.

The exact number of sprays depends on the crop and your goals, so always follow the label and any program recommended by OrganicPlus for your specific crop.

Where do you spray Liquid Compost?

The two key places are:

  • On the soil around the plant – so the beneficial soil life and nutrients reach the roots.
  • Over the plant (foliar) – a fine spray on the leaves helps the plant take up nutrients quickly.

Many farmers do both: focus on the root zone and give a light spray on the leaves. Avoid spraying in the hottest part of the day and always follow the mixing and safety instructions on the label.

Where can you find Liquid Compost?

Liquid Compost is available at over 70 agri-retailers across Fiji, including well-known places like Hop Tiy in Suva and Post Fiji post offices, as well as many rural and town agri-stores.

How many bottles are required for 1 acre?

The amount you need per acre depends mainly on how many plants you have, not just the size of the land.

As a guide, farmers use roughly 60 ml of Liquid Compost solution per plant (at a 1:25 mix with water). At this rate, a 5 litre bottle of Liquid Compost can cover roughly 2,085 plants.

That means, for example:

  • 1 acre of dalo with ~4,000 plants → about 10 litres of Liquid Compost per application.
  • 1 acre of eggplant with ~5,400 plants → about 13 litres of Liquid Compost per application.

What does Liquid Compost actually do?

Liquid Compost feeds both your soil and your plants. It combines quick-release nutrients with a very high concentration of beneficial soil bacteria — around 1 billion per millilitre.

In simple terms, it helps:

  • Unlock nutrients already in your soil so plants can use them more easily.
  • Build stronger roots that explore more soil and support bigger plants.
  • Support plant health so crops can handle stress better and suffer fewer pest and disease losses.
  • Lift yield and quality, so more of your hard work turns into marketable harvest and profit.

It’s not about replacing every other input overnight — it’s about making your soil more alive and your fertiliser program work harder for you.
